How to design your Stay

Chateau Le Vigneau offers you many beautiful possibilities to spend your free time...

Spacious gardens surround the chateau. Here you can relax without being disturbed by others.

The large lawns are suitable for all kinds of outdoor games. In the unique pergolas you can laze in a hammock or enjoy romantic meals with your loved ones.

Garden and terrace

The huge terrace fascinates with a stunning view of the Loire Valley.  The sunsets you can watch from there are legendary.

Pool

Behind the house, in the former vegetable garden, is the large pool (6x12 m). The whole area is completely fenced. This creates a pool area with a large sun terrace and generous lawn.

A cover by means of a roll rope provides additional security.

The distance to the house means that you can relax or work there undisturbed by noise.

Forest

Le Vigneau is nestled in meadows and forest. Beautiful 115 hectares of oak forest, typical of the Charollais, are available exclusively for you to walk and cycle in.

Directly behind the house begins the beautiful avenue that takes you into the forest.

The layout of the forest with its extensive avenues is based on the fact that for centuries the forest was also used for par force hunting. Today it is used for forestry.

Culture and leisure

Vigneau is a secluded spot in the wonderful Burgundy countryside and is so beautiful that you can spend a few weeks here without going far.

Nevertheless, the region offers many opportunities to explore the world-famous cultural treasures of Burgundy and the Bourbonnais in the immediate vicinity. Bourbon-Lancy, Moulins sur Alliers, Autun, Nevers, Aprémont-sur-Alliers, Perrecy les Forges, Parray le Monial are just a few examples.

Sportsmen can paddle on the Loire, play tennis or golf in Bourbon-Lancy (2 km), cycle or rollerblade on the Voie Verte or visit the largest theme park and zoo in France, the Pal.
